Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:Kathgodam to Khati
Drive from Kathgodam to Loharkhet (6-7 hours). Trek 6 km to Khati village (7,600 ft), the last inhabited village on the trail. Trek duration: 3-4 hours. Overnight in guesthouse/homestay.
Day 2:Khati to Dwali
Trek through beautiful forests alongside Pindar River. Cross small streams and enjoy mountain views. Reach Dwali campsite (8,760 ft). Trek duration: 5-6 hours.
Day 3:Dwali to Phurkiya
Continue through dense forests and open meadows. The trail becomes steeper with stunning views emerging. Reach Phurkiya (10,366 ft). Trek duration: 5-6 hours.
Day 4:Phurkiya to Pindari Glacier & Back
Summit day! Trek to Pindari Zero Point (12,300 ft) for close-up glacier views. Spend time at the glacier, take photos, and soak in the majesty. Return to Phurkiya. Trek duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 5:Phurkiya to Khati
Begin descent back to Khati village. Trek duration: 7-8 hours. Overnight at Khati.
Day 6:Khati to Loharkhet to Kathgodam
Trek down to Loharkhet (3-4 hours). Drive back to Kathgodam. Journey ends with amazing memories.
