The trail gradually ascends through dense oak and pine forests before opening up to vast, rolling meadows that stretch as far as the eye can see. During summer (May-June), these meadows burst into a riot of colors with countless alpine flowers blooming. The views from Dayara Bugyal are spectacular - you're surrounded by mighty Himalayan peaks including Bandarpunch, Draupadi Ka Danda, Srikanth, Jaonli, and Gangotri ranges. The best views are from Bakaria Top (12,000 ft), the highest point of the trek, where you get a complete 360-degree panorama. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:Dehradun to Barsu

Drive from Dehradun to Barsu village via Uttarkashi (7-8 hours). Beautiful journey along the Bhagirathi River. Overnight in guesthouse/camps. Altitude: 7,600 ft.

Day 2:Barsu to Gui

Begin trek through dense oak forests. Gradual ascent with increasing meadow views. First glimpses of the bugyals. Reach Gui campsite (10,200 ft). Trek duration: 4-5 hours.

Day 3:Gui to Dayara Bugyal and Bakaria Top

Trek across the vast Dayara meadows. Continue to Bakaria Top (12,000 ft) for spectacular 360° mountain views. Return to Dayara Bugyal camp (11,150 ft). Trek duration: 5-6 hours.

Day 4:Dayara Bugyal to Barsu

Descend through meadows and forests back to Barsu village. Enjoy the changing landscapes. Trek duration: 5-6 hours. Overnight at Barsu.

Day 5:Barsu to Dehradun

Drive back to Dehradun. Arrive by evening with wonderful meadow trek memories.
