Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:Kathgodam to Lohajung
Drive from Kathgodam to Lohajung base camp (7-8 hours). Scenic journey through Kumaon valleys. Overnight in guesthouse. Altitude: 7,700 ft.
Day 2:Lohajung to Bekaltal
Begin trek through oak forests. Gradual ascent with increasing snow cover. Reach Bekaltal lake campsite (9,600 ft). Trek duration: 5-6 hours.
Day 3:Bekaltal to Brahmatal via Telandi
Trek through dense forests and open meadows. Pass Telandi ridge with first spectacular views of Trishul. Reach Brahmatal campsite (10,400 ft). Trek duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 4:Brahmatal to Summit and back to Brahmatal
Early morning summit climb to Brahmatal peak (12,250 ft). Spectacular 360° views of Himalayan giants. Visit Brahmatal Lake. Return to camp. Trek duration: 5-6 hours.
Day 5:Brahmatal to Lohajung
Descend back to Lohajung base camp via Bekaltal or alternative route. Trek duration: 6-7 hours. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 6:Lohajung to Kathgodam
Drive back to Kathgodam. Journey ends with beautiful winter trek memories.
